Hiring a photographer & videographer was one of the things I was most stressed about when planning my wedding. I’m not from Oahu & would not have the opportunity to meet whoever I hired before the wedding. I so badly wanted something more than the traditional checklist of set up photos for our special day, I wanted art. I wanted to look at the photos & videos of our day & be emotionally transported back to those moments, & sometimes a pixel for pixel snapshot of a moment does not evoke the true magic of any given moment in time. When I came across Taylor & Cobian’s work, my heart had hope. After my first zoom with them, I felt calm, & that’s when I knew, just like true love soothing the soul, they were tonic for my frazzled nerves. The most lovely couple, with the best vibes, & the portfolio to back up their calm confidence. The day of, they were professional yet relaxed & fun & enjoyed the day with our guests, never making anyone feel rushed or awkward. The photos & video they delivered were just as I had hoped, art. Getting to experience the sandbar on such a beautiful morning while watching the sunrise was something out of a dream. I don’t think we could’ve went to a better location. I grew up with a deep connection to the ocean and just being near it, so I’m so glad that you captured these photos of Drew and I in such a place. My favorite place to be in the world, the ocean, with my favorite person in the world, Drew.
I especially love the pics you took when the sun came out so you can see all the sun rats in the water and the crisp color of it as well. Capturing that sparks a light in me and gives me a feeling that I can’t quite describe. Here’s why: it’s probably weird, but I can remember being a kid and being obsessed with going under water with goggles on just so I could watch the way the sun hit the water and how the rays dispersed throughout it. I got really good at holding my breath hahaha. Thank you to you and Cobian for making it a spectacular experience. Looking back I feel like I was very quiet during the session but I came to realize that was because I was really just taking it all in. I admire your work so much and your process! You create beautiful art! We’re so excited to share these with everyone and print them out to display in our home!

I just wanted to thank you again. For EVERYTHING. Our wedding day was absolutely magical. I love being able to look back at our pictures and video and be brought back to the amazing memories. Omg Taylor was ammmmmazing!! My husband and I were traveling to Maui for our 4 year anniversary and we wanted some adventure photos to remember our trip. I searched and searched and finally found Taylor and was obsessed. Her photos are more than just images, they are works of art. The way she authentically captured my husband and I through these images is something I will cherish for the rest of our lives. As for Taylor herself, she was everything I could have asked for in a photographer. She replied to my (multiple) emails asking for her advice on our outfits, I trusted her judgement on what location to shoot at (was 100% not disappointed), she made us feel comfortable and confident during the session, and all around she’s just a great human being. I’m already trying to plan another trip to Hawaii just so we can work with Taylor again.
